How did you get started breeding minibernedoodles?
We did a lot of research before getting started breeding minibernedoodles. They are just great dogs. They make excellent pets and therapy dogs. We strive to be the kind of dog breeder where people want to get their puppy. We have 10 acres, plenty of room for the dogs, even the large Bernese Mountain Dogs, to play.
How do you get your puppies ready for their new home?
Before our puppies are ready to go home, they will be checked by the vet twice, have their first round of shots, be dewormed and microchipped. We also work each day to socialize the puppies as they grow through their first weeks, so they are confident and ready for a new home. They go home with a blanket that smells like their mom and siblings to ease the transition to their new environment and help their new family get through the first night or two! We also send each family home with a few tips in their puppy packet and copies of mom and dad’s registration papers and pictures .
How do I get ''In line" for a future litter?
As families send in their $300 deposit, they will be matched up with a litter based on their preferences (male, female; f1 or f1b, color preference, etc.), or they are placed on the wait list in order of deposit receipt for future litters. As puppies arrive, we contact families to let them know what is available and determine if we have their perfect match. All deposits are fully refundable, no questions asked, for two years. We strive to be as flexible as possible to ensure everyone gets the puppy they desire.
